Randomness

Hey all,

I know I haven't really talked much lately. The newest MacMillan kids are adapting to their new home and country very well. They are learning a lot and I think they are greatly enjoy themselves here. As soon as I can, I will post a picture slide show of their new-and-improved family that David and Theo put together, and some other pics.

I don't know about you, but the end of the school year is getting really hectic around here. Especially for homeschoolers. We, and a lot of others, are trying to finish our school books and go to graduations and end-of-the-year parties, and plan the summer all at the same time. I like to be busy, but sometimes it's just too much. I don't mean to complain! ;)

I hope your life is going well and that you are finding time to shine your light in a darkening world. These are definitely the last days and prophesies are coming to pass rapidly. But even in the turmoil and chaos, it's so amazing to see God's hand at work in each and every one of our lives. He is such a good God and loves us so dearly. And that is why He sent His Son to this earth to take all our sins on His back. I was thinking about it the other day - God made the earth, mankind and, of course, everything else that inhabits the earth. He made us for His pleasure and to worship and commune with Him. Then Adam sinned, and therefore all of humankind has an inherent, sinful nature. What a dissappointment that must have been to God. After all the hard work put into us, we sinned and separated ourselves from Him. The Bible says, "And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart." Genesis 6:6 But, even then, He still loved man and eventually He sent His one and only Son to actually give up His life for us. That just totally amazes me when I think about it. It is so humbling. He actually came to the earth He created and died for the people who disobeyed Him. I mean, its just as if I were to creat some robots and program them to follow a certain routine and they dont'. And, with my sinful nature, I would just throw them away and try again. God could have done the same thing! He could have just destroyed us and the whole Universe to creat something else to give Him glory; but He gave us a second chance. His love is so immense and powerful. He loves into infinity! He doesn't know how to love another way. The one and only true God loves you and I just as much as He loves His Son, Jesus Christ. Isn't that amazing?

I had better quit now. But I just can't get over how wonderful the God I serve is.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
In Christ,

Jordan Casey
